Common Mistake #8: Failure To Build Relationships And Trust With Your Customers.

While it is generally true that the ‘money is in the list’ as I mentioned above, that however is NOT really the complete picture. The real money is in the RELATIONSHIP AND AUTHORITY YOU HAVE WITH YOUR LIST.

You may have a list of 100,000 people, but you probably would not make much from that list if the people on it do
not perceive you as an authority in the business, and if you have not build a relationship of trust with them.
People naturally lean towards people and businesses that care and have a trustworthy reputation and perceived
authority with them. When they see a nameless, faceless company, they are not very likely to continue to do
business with them. Building this relationship is not hard; simply care about what your customers want. You should care about this anyway, because your customers are your business’lifeline.

Provide them good value all the time and do not simply be sending them sales letters. A customer wants to feel like they are being taken care of and they know where their products or services are coming from. Build up your reputation and your relationships to keep them coming back for more.
